Who is UX@UW?

UX @ UW is the only RSO at UW dedicated to User Experience Design & Research! Founded in the midst of COVID-19 in 2020, UX@UW has grown to one of the largest UX Design organizations on the University of Washington campus. Throughout the year we put on events that promote technical Figma skills, industry networking, career development, and specific design methodologies for students of all skill levels. We’ve even hosted a large-scale hackathon in collaboration with Figma! The overall goal of this club is to bring students interested in UX what they want and need to succeed. We are committed to keeping up with design trends and utilizing feedback to create meaningful events. Our events are workshop based so every time you come to a meeting there’s something to walk away with. We bring in industry experts from places like Google, Uber, Figma, Amazon, etc. to give real time industry insight, resume and portfolio reviews, and recruiting advice for students of all skill levels. How do I join?

There is no membership! All of our events are stand alone so you can come and go as you please to each event :) Our job is to provide you with all the resources you might need to be sure to take advantage! Our events are bi-weekly or 4 times a quarter so be sure to follow us on Instagram @uxuw.club and subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date with all of our events.
